Lots of holes on deck for parts for and upgrade model, does not have a side discharge as described, single speed fits all, easy to assemble, and as always quickly delivery by Amazon,

I mean even the Mao Xetung lawnmowers at Wally World have plugs in the deck for missing parts and are functioning as described.

The green color is very nice. Lawn Boy must believe that entry level must be less than exceptional and exceptable

I purchased this two days ago and last night I decided to put it together. Before I even put the oil and gas into it, I decided to push it down the driveway. The thing is terribly aligned and in about 25 feet it drifts 2-4 feet to the left. I checked to see if all the wheels were rotating evenly (they were) and to see if they were off balance (they weren’t) and I also checked to see if one of the wheels happened to be set at a different height than the others (they werent). This is going back to the store (to probably get the same model since I know how good Lawn Boys are) But this is very frustrating.

The mower itself is excellent, but… It appeared to be well packed, with no obvious damage to the carton on the outside, but it had clearly been stored (or even dropped) on it’s end.

This was obvious from the way the mower was crushing the cardboard that is supposed to keep it in place inside the carton.

The result was that the two levers that are used to adjust height on the back wheels were bent, and the plastic cover supposed to slide over them was broken on one side.

The instruction booklet that accompanies the mower is less than clear also. Apart from the statutory garbage that clutters the pages, the book appears to indicate that there is a button to prime the motor before starting. There isn’t, and none is needed. It starts very well – all 3 times I have used it.

While it’s a 20″ mower, smaller and lighter than the 22″ it replaced, I don’t notice a significant difference – except that it is lighter, quieter, and it does a nice job.

Great little mower. I have been very pleased with it so far, and it has always started on the first pull for me!

Probably the only thing i would change is the handel joint connection. I have to fit it in a small shed and need to fold the handel down every time, and it takes a couple minutes to work the bolts/connectors to the point where i can fold it down.

I had shopped reviews online for a number of different push mowers before deciding to go with the Lawn-Boy. We had recently bought a new house with a small back and side yard to maintain. This mower has been great so far(have only used it twice…long term durability remains to be seen).

It is easy to operate and maintain, and starts on the first pull every time.

Was also eligible for free delivery which made it a no brainer for me at a price between $240-$260.

Quick delivery, satisfied buyer.
